2nd International Yoga Day Celebration at NIT Kurukshetra

The yoga day was well celebrated under the guidance of yoga Acharya at NIT Kurukshetra on June 21, 2016.

The 2nd international yoga day celebrated with fervour at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra on June 21, 2016.
The day was graced by the honourable visits of Acharya Dr. Dharamveer Rishi Udyan, Ajmer (Rajasthan) and Shri Samarpal Arya (Gurukul Kurukshetra). 
The program kick started early in the morning at 6:30 a.m. with a brief introductory lecture on the significance of the yoga day and the practice of yoga by Yoga Acharya (lawns in front of the old administrative block). 
This was followed by Yoga exercises under the supervision of a yoga trainer. Soon after a lecture on importance of Yoga in daily life was delivered by a yoga expert following a video on yoga and a short interactive session in the Senate hall. The event was concluded with a valedictory session at 10:45 a.m.
