69th Independence Day celebrated with fervour at JIM, Indore

During this auspicious occasion a new Vollyball Court was inaugurated by the college authority!

Every Jaipurian, heart was overwhelmed for 69th Independence Day celebration. Although decoration, rangoli, rehearsals and other activities, continued throughout the night, yet no signs of weariness was found in the eyes of budding managers. 
The event kick started early in the morning. Jaipuria fraternity gathered for the most proud movement for every Indian ‘Flag hosting’ along with the students invited from the Dakachya Village School. The Flag hoisting was done by Dr. Harshavardhan Halve, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, followed by the National Anthem.
After distribution of sweets further program took place in the auditorium. Parul Nayak and Gaurav Ranawat Students of the batch 2015-17, hosted the event, starting with the Director’s speech. Dr. Halve wished everyone on the 69th Independence Day. He sensitized Jaipurians on the various social issues and talked about the real sense of Independence. He said development of every Indian would lead to the overall development of India. Rights and responsibilities are two sides of the same coin, if we ask for our rights, we also need to fulfill our responsibilities towards our own Nation.
Dr. Nitin Merh, Assistant Dean, Student Affairs, was called upon the stage to say few inspirational lines on this auspicious occasion. He pointed out the carefree nature of Indians leading to loss of resources, may it be wastage of water, electricity or littering around. In his words, Independence means to come out of the prejudices residing inside us.
Further, students took the charge, and continued with various activities as in patriotic songs, dance, skits, poetry and speeches and the little guests of Jaipuria equally participated in these activities.
Dr. Romi Sainy, Assistant Dean Academics and Program Chair, took over the stage for the felicitation. The felicitation ceremony started with the MRC team and that to with the Captain of the ship Mr. Sameer Pradhan followed by the other members of MRC. The program office of Jaipuria continued with the felicitation of the top CGPA holders for the batch 2014-16. The toppers of the batch were Richa Puri, Meeta Malik and Ritu Raj Singh Hada. Further certificates were also floated to the various subject toppers. Kids of Dakachya got token of appreciation through Mr. Harshavardhan Halve.
A new Volleyball court got added up in the assets of Jaipuria. All the members present were witness to the inauguration of the new Volleyball court. The day’s event came to an end with a friendly Volleyball match between seniors and juniors.
