Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai in collaboration with Department of Commerce- University of Mumbai is hosting the 6th Innovation Summit and International Research Conference on “Strategy in a Digital World” on February 16, 2018 (Friday). The International Research Conference will attempt to discuss the various opportunities and challenges concerning “Strategy in a Digital World”. In today’s robust technological era, the internet revolution has abolished the typical traditional competition, thereby making an approach to digitalization. Its footprints have been embarked in all sectors such as retail, manufacturing, banking tourism, telecommunication, airlines, etc. Recent studies point to digital as the primary force driving the business and societal changes that are affecting company operations across industries.

Business leaders must be acquainted with effective plans and should implement and measure the impact of digital strategies that may benefit today’s customers. It is with this objective that the theme of the Conference is “Strategy in a Digital World”.

The  6th Innovation Summit and International Research Conference on “ Strategy in a Digital World” focus on the lessons to be learnt from these events, and proposes that, as a result, strategy in the twenty-first century will have to develop along new lines.

With this backdrop, this conference will attempt to discuss the various opportunities, underscore challenges concerning “Strategy in a Digital World.”  The selected research papers will be published in the Bi-annual Research Journal, titled “SHODHADITYA”.

Objective of the Conference

i)             To provide a platform to all researchers to highlight the various developments carried out in the field of digitalization.

ii)           To analyze the various challenges and opportunities associated with strategies in a digital world

iii)          To identify the impact of digitalization on society at large and to encourage more research in this area
