Civil Engineering Department of ABES Institute of Technology conducted a training programme on MX Road

As a part of the curriculum, Civil Engineering Department of ABES Institute of Technology is conducting a training programme on MX Road and the students were taken for field visits on NH 24 through college’s bus on September 3, 2016, and September 4, 2016, in two batches.

The interactive session gave the participating students a practical knowledge about the various aspects of highway design such as the slope of camber, carriage width, & pavement materials etc.

The trips were successfully conducted by the trainer Mr Vipul Arora, and were monitored by the competent faculties of Civil Engineering Department namely Prof. Paritosh K. Singh, Prof. Chaitanya Gandhi, & Prof. Manish Kumar, under the able guidance of Director Prof Dr. Bhavesh Kumar Chauhan and the Head of Civil Engineering Department Prof Dr. Sudhir Goyal.

ABES Institute of Technology is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (Mahamaya Technical University, NOIDA) and offers B. Tech., MBA and MCA full-time degree courses.

Institute has an active career and guidance cell that starts from the very basic. ABES IT has been conducting an annual placement fair with HT Shine at its campus since 2010. Over 150 companies have visited the campus in the last 2 years. ABES IT focusses on the end to end process of selection, training and development to make a student employable / engageable in a professional manner in whatever future the student wishes to choose While adequate offers are provided on campus for those desiring to take up job careers a good number of students nowadays plan for higher education / entrepreneurship/ family businesses/ pursuing Govt. jobs.
