The Global Entrepreneurship Hangout held at Aditya Educational Campus had entrepreneurs interacting with graduate and post graduate students of AIMSR.

The welcome speech by Dr. Seema Tatwawadi, Director, AIMSR at the “Global Entrepreneurship Hangout” held at Aditya Educational Campus, organized by Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research in association with SED and presented by Navayuvak Enterprises echoed the sentiment of the audience comprising of graduate and post graduate students from 25 colleges across Mumbai. When asked, why they wanted to be entrepreneurs, the majority of the students replied, “to make a difference” and “change the world”. As India is poised to challenge the world with “Make in India” initiative and the government extending entrepreneur friendly policies, the overwhelming response from the youth is a precursor for the exciting times ahead in the realm of entrepreneurship & innovation.
It was the first time that a webinar was organized with entrepreneurs from England, Singapore and Italy. The entrepreneurs interacted with the students gathered in the spacious auditorium of Aditya Educational Campus facilitated by Mr. Gaurav Mishra of Navayuvak Enterprises. Celia Gates, Founder, Whether.to & Global Brainstorm; Marc Ortmans, Founder & CEO Ideaspace Global; and Mikele Ferraro, Founder, Ferramedia Holdings, shared their experience with the budding entrepreneurs.
Celebrity magician Mr. Akshay Laxman shared his life experience with the audience highlighting the point that an entrepreneur who can create their career venture from the passion which drives them can climb the ladder of success in a short time.
Mr. Russel Baptista, Founder, Digivigi consulting & DanceVance, choreographed a unique dance sequence with the students of Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research highlighting the pillars of entrepreneurship – Integrity, Innovation, Trust, Agility, Team work, Excellence & Mutual Respect.
Mr. Pankaj Sethi, Director Third Vue Consulting, spoke about the need to put in heart & soul in building an entrepreneurial venture. He cautioned the students that “Don’t venture in to a start-up because it is a cool thing to do. Passion, drive and one hundred percent commitment is required to successfully scale-up a start-up.”
