After DU first cut-off, the admission process is what candidates want to know about. In 2017 as many as 2.2 lakh candidates applied for admission at Delhi University for 56,000 seats. Now when the Delhi University first cut-off list 2017 is out, the most important thing is to get ready for the admission process. Delhi University releases different cut-off lists for undergraduate programmes for General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Kashmiri Migrants (KM) and Children/ Widows of Defence Personnel (CW). Admission Process After DU First Cut-off 2017 - Document Verification

For the candidates who qualify the first DU cut-off 2017, document verification is the next step. For Delhi University UG Admission 2017, document verification and approval of admission will be allowed till June 28.

Documents to carry for verification:

  • Class X board examination certificate
  • Class X marks sheet
  • Class XII mark sheet
  • Class XII Provisional Certificate / Original Certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Two passport size self-attested photographs

Students who have applied in morning colleges can go for document verification between 9.30 am to 1.30 pm while evening batch students can visit the college between 4 pm to 7 pm.

Admission Process After DU First Cut-off 2017 - Fee Payment

One successful approval of admission from the college of your choice, you will get a message on your phone. On receiving the message, next step in admission process after DU first cut-off 2017 is to pay the fee through Delhi University’s online portal. Students can deposit the fees for the selected undergraduate DU programme within scheduled time.

Admission Process After DU First Cut-off for Switching the Course

If you don't meet the admission criteria for the selected course and get your name on the cut-off list for another course, you need to withdraw the first admission to switch the course. You need to apply afresh for the course for which you meet the cut-off.
