When a candidate is allowed to change the course of study in the same college or within the departments of the University

(a)   If already paid fee is less than the amount to be paid for the changed course, then the due amount is to be paid separately.

Candidates are not eligible for any fee refund if the admission cancellation is due to concealment, submission of fake certificates, falsification of facts and/or providing misleading information.

Things to consider before making a Delhi University admission withdrawal

  • Make sure the college of your interest has enough seats available in the course you wish to seek admission for.
  • As per the UGC guidelines, a candidate can enrol only for a single full-time undergraduate course. For preventing students from applying elsewhere, DU colleges keep the original documents of the candidates.
  • An admission application to a college will not be entertained without submitting an admission cancellation application to the college already enrolled at.
  • After the admission application has been cancelled, the awarded seat will not be reissued.
