Government College of Engineering & Textile is inviting applications for B. Tech programme

Govenrment College of Engineering & Textile Technology, Berhampore (GCETTB) is inviting applications for numerous UG courses in Engineering & Technology through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2015. Even after the admission process is over, and there are seats lying vacant then there is provision for direct admissions as well.

 

 

UG Programmes offered by GCETTB:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • Admissions are made on the basis of the ranks obtained by the candidate in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2015
  • Lateral Entry applicants should have passed 3 year diploma in engineering from any AICTE approved Institute/Polytechnic with at least 50% (45% for reserved category)
  • Lateral Entry candidates have to undergo  Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2015

Documents required at the time of admission:

  • Madhyamik Admit Card
  • H.S. Mark sheet
  • J.E.E. Admit Card
  • Provisional Admission letter/Allotment letter
  • Rank Card
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Eye Vision Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner
  • SC/ST/OBC/PC Certificate (if applicable)
  • 2 Passport Size Photographs
  • Self-signed photocopy of the Income Certificate duly signed by Reporting Centre Officers

NOTE: Self-attested one set of Photo copy of each document along with original copies.

 

About the Institute:

Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology, Berhampore, West Bengal, was established almost 8 decades ago. The college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology. The infrastructure has developed and lots of laboratories have been put to functioning recently. Gym freaks can enrol themselves into a multi-purpose gym available in the campus itself. The college hostel has state of the art facilities. A water treatment facility has been set up in the campus worth crores.
