Qualifications required for PhD course:
M.E/M.S/M.B.A /M.Phil. in relevant branches. Preference will be given to GATE/NET/qualified candidates.
Scholarship and assistantship provided: Ph.D - Rs 18000 for initial 2 years and third year Rs 20000 monthly for Engineering and Technology. For other branches, Rs 16000 for initial two years monthly and in third year Rs 18000 monthly.
M.S and M.Phil: B.Tech/M.Sc in relevant branches with consistent good grades. The selected candidates will be offered a stipend of Rs 12000.
Application procedure: Interested eligible candidates should send in their completed application forms with a fee of Rs 100 to the Deputy Director, Admissions, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (Hindustan University), No.40, GST Road, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai – 16.
Last date for submission of application forms – 7th December 2012.
