AEEE 2017 Registrations to Begin from December 1

The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University has rolled out the important dates for Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE). While the registrations have begun, the AEEE examination is scheduled to be conducted in the online mode from April 20 to April 23 and on April 29, 2017 in the offline mode.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University has released an official notification that AEEE 2017 will be conducted in offline mode only in three states that include Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Candidates will be appearing for this examination for admission into the university’s three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore).

AEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board securing at least 60 percent marks in aggregate in mathematics, physics and chemistry with no less than 55 percent marks in each of the subjects.
  2. Candidate with a three-year diploma in engineering with minimum 60 percent marks awarded by any state board of technical education.

AEEE 2017: Important Points to Remember

  1. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours.
  2. The examination is conducted by the University to provide admission to various undergraduate programmes (B.Tech).
  3. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the rank secured in the examination.
  4. AEEE 2017 will be conducted in two separate modes: computer and pen-paper based.

How to Apply for AEEE 2017?

Offline Mode-

Aspirants can obtain the printed OMR application forms of AEEE 2017 in the following ways-

  1. The application forms can be availed from the university counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Vengal-Chennai on producing a demand draft of INR 1000 drawn in the favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore. 
  2. From the list of sale outlets (Federal Bank, Post office, Dhanlaxmi Bank) by paying INR 1000. 
  3. By post from the Admission Coordinator, Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore, with a demand draft of INR 1000. 

Online Mode-

  1. Aspirants are required to register themselves by creating their profiles on the college website. 
  2. Once you register yourself, you will need to upload your scanned photograph and signature. 
  3. The last step includes the mode of payment- online (Net-banking/debit/credit card) or offline (by demand draft).
  4. Once it is completed, you must download and take a printout of the same. 
  5. Keep it handy for future references.
