AFCAT 2016 set wise answer keys will be released shortly and the results will be announced in October 2016.

 

The set wise answer keys of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) will be released on the official website of Indian Air Force (IAF).

The AFCAT 2016 exam was conducted on August 28 and the AFCAT results 2016 are set to be announced in October.

The Air Force Admission Test is conducted for aspirants willing to offer their services in various flying branches including ground duties and technical units.

The examination will be conducted to employ candidates for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent/Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty branches.

• Click on ‘AFCAT Answer Key 2016’ in the notification bar
• Fill in requisites like Registration no., Password and set no.
• Answer Key will appear

AFCAT Exam

AFCAT 2016 is a two-hour question paper containing 100 questions.

For every correct, answer three marks are given. For every wrong answer, one mark is deducted from the no. of marks of the particular question.

AFCAT 2016 is a multiple-choice question paper and has sections like Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Awareness and Military Aptitude.

AFCAT Selection Process

Candidates who will be short-listed on the basis of AFCAT will be called for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) at Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, Varanasi or Kancharapara.

The test consists of three stages as given below:

(a) Stage-I Test consisting of Intelligence Test along with other tests will be conducted on the first day. Stage-I test is a screening test and only those who qualify will undergo subsequent testing.
All Stage-I qualified candidates will be subjected to document check to ascertain their eligibility for the branches applied for.

(b) Stage-II testing consisting of Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview will be conducted on subsequent days (Five Days).

(c) For Flying Branch: CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) and / PABT will be administered for eligible candidates.
