AICTE announces CMAT 2018 notification; Registration starts from October 20

Important dates of AICTE CMAT 2018 has been announced. Registration process will begin from October 20.

CMAT Notification

CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test) is an online entrance test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India for admission to postgraduate management programs offered by various institutes across the country. All AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges accept the score of CMAT exam. Approx. 70,000 candidates take CMAT exam every year. Last year, a total of 59,181 candidates qualified the exam.

Schedule for CMAT 2018 has been announced. Registration for the test will start from October 20 at 10 AM onwards and will end on December 15. Interested candidates must apply within the prescribed timeline. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 21, 2018. The release date of admit card, result and scorecard have not been announced. These are expected to be published after the commencement of CMAT registration process. Candidates can check the complete schedule of CMAT in the table given below:

CMAT Application Procedure 2018

Candidates will have to fill a self-registration form entering their email id and mobile number. After the submission of this form. Login credentials will be generated which will be sent to the registered email id of the candidate. Using those details, login and fill the application form of CMAT 2018. Fill the required details such as personal and academic information, work experience carefully as it cannot be edited once the form will be submitted. Upload necessary documents and pay the CMAT 2018 application fee to complete the application procedure.

CMAT Admit Card 2018

Admit card of CMAT 2018 will be issued after the conclusion of the application procedure. Candidates who will successfully complete the application process will only be issued the hall ticket. It will contain personal details of the candidates and address of CMAT exam centre. They must carry it to the examination centre; otherwise, applicants will not be allowed to appear for the test.

No Reserve day in CMAT 2018

This year, some reforms have been made by the conducting body. There will not be any reserve day for CMAT 2018. Last year exam was conducted on January 29 and 29 to avoid any glitches on the first day of the exam. This time test is scheduled on January 21, 2018.
