The All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is yet to release the AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam pattern to aid students appearing for AIIMS entrance exam. The AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam will be scheduled to be held in the month of May 2017 to grant admission to students fighting it out for 672 MBBS seats. It’s is a national level online entrance exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Candidates who have filled the AIIMS application form must know the exam pattern for AIIMS MBBS, number and types of questions, marking scheme and other details to prepare well in advance.
 

AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be conducted through online mode [Computer Based Test (CBT) ] only.The duration of examination shall be 3 hours 30 minutes. The exam will be conducted in two shifts:

Morning Shift/First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Afternoon Shift/Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM

The examination centres are tentatively proposed in 171 cities across the country.

Exam Pattern for AIIMS MBBS 2017:

The Competitive Entrance Examination will have one paper consisting of 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude. The distribution of questions is:

Standard of Examination:

The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. No syllabus has been prescribed by the Institute for the examination.

Language of Question Paper:

Automated Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice of candidates. Applicants must choose / indicate in the application form whether he/she prefers to have the question paper in English or Hindi. This choice cannot be changed later at any stage.
