AILET 2018 counselling process commences after declaration of result and preparation of merit list. Know everything about AILET counselling 2018 in the article below.

AILET 2018 Counselling

AILET counselling 2018 will start after the announcement of AILET 2018 result on the official website. National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) conducts counselling of the candidates who qualified AILET 2018 exam. NLU Delhi prepares a merit list based on the ranks of candidates in AILET 2018 and updates the qualified candidates by uploading the merit list on the website. Candidates whose names are there in the list need to visit the given venue along with the required documents. Seats will be allotted on the basis of the ranks candidates scored in AILET 2018 exam. List of the shortlisted candidates will be published on the official website following which candidates will get their admission letter from the National Law University, Delhi.

AILET 2018 Document Verification

An essential part of AILET counselling process is verification of original documents. Candidates who fail to produce valid documents during the counselling process will be disqualified for the further admission process. Candidature of the candidates who don’t meet AILET 2018 eligibility criteria will also be canceled.

AILET Counselling 2018 – Documents to carry for verification

Candidates who see their names in AIELT merit list 2018 need to reach for the counselling session with the below-given documents.

  • AILET 2018 admission letter received from NLU Delhi
  • AILET 2018 scorecard
  • AILET admit card 2018
  • Self-attested copy of 12th mark sheet
  • Self-attested copy of 10th mark sheet
  • Self-attested copy of character certificate from school or college
  • Self-attested copy of transfer certificate
  • 4-6 color and black & white passport size photographs
  • Medical documents specified in AILET application form
  • Demand draft of Rs. 50,000 drawn in favor of “The Registrar, National Law University Delhi’ that needs to be paid in New Delhi

AILET 2018 Spot Counselling Round

AILET 2018 counselling will be conducted separately for undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses. Aspirants who met AILET 2018 cut off and got their names in the merit list will have to pay AILET 2018 counselling fee to lock a seat for admission at the National Law University Delhi. There will be more than one round for AILET 2018 seat allotment. AILET spot counselling 2018 round will be organized on June 26, 2018. Apart from this, a spot counselling round is also conducted by NLU Delhi to fill the seats remained vacant after the last date of depositing fee. This round is open only for the candidates whose names are in AILET merit list 2018 waiting list category.
