AILET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

AILET 2017 Eligibility Criteria – AILET 2017, a short form of All India Law Entrance Test, is a national level entrance examination for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the discipline of law. The exam is conducted every year by National Law University (NLU), Delhi in order to screen students for courses offered by the university and other affiliated institutes.

The upcoming AILET exam is going to be conducted on May 7, 2017. The application forms for AILET exam are available on the official wesbite and registratins will end on April 7th, 2017.

Based on AILET 2016, the application fee for AILET 2017 is expected to be INR 3000 for general category and INR 1000 for reserved category students.

AILET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

AILET 2017 will be conducted to admit students to BA LLB, LLM and PhD courses. Aspiring candidates should check the eligibility criteria mentioned below to be able to apply for AILET 2017 examination.

For BA LLB:

Candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized university and should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

For LLM:

Candidates should have completed LLB or equivalent from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, which is 50% for candidates belonging to SC, ST or PWD category.

For PhD:

Candidates should have done LLM or equivalent from a recognized university and scored a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, which is 50 percent for candidates belonging to SC, ST or PWD category.

Candidates in their final year of qualifying examination for any of the equivalent courses can also apply for AILET.
