Amity University Signs 6 MoUs with Global Universities During 6th International Confluence

During the 6th International Confluence, Amity University signs 6 MOUs with several global universities. Here is the report.

Amity 6th International Confluence
Department of Computer Science & Engineering,  Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) successfully conducted a two-day summit ‘Confluence’ on January 14 and 15, 2016.
The 6th edition of the International Confluence was conducted in collaboration with global universities like EMC Corporation, University of Massachusetts, Lowell, USA, Purdue University, Calumet, USA, University of Florida, USA, University of Cape Town, South Africa, Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, Queen University Belfast, UK. 
The Global Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summit threw light on the topic ‘Cloud System and Big Data Engineering’ and attracted large participation outside the country as over 146 research paper were presented. Out of these, 26 were presented by international delegates from renowned universities such as Cambridge University, UK; University of Nottingham, UK; University of Massachusetts, USA; Purdue University, USA; Stanford University, USA; Cornell University, USA; Asia Pacific University, Malaysia; University of Cape Town, South Africa; University of Technology, Sydney, Australia; Istanbul University, Turkey; Intel Corporation, USA and others.



Addressing the distinguished gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal said that the 6th International Confluence will provide a platform to discuss and deliberate upon trends and issues related to Cloud System and Big Data Engineering by industry experts and academicians.
During the Summit, Amity University signed 6 MoUs with University of Massachusetts, USA; Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada; Sunway University, Malaysia; Asia Pacific University, Malaysia; Penza State University, Russian Federation and Intel Corporation to facilitate and enrich educational ties between the Institutions and benefit from inter disciplinary research.
