Annual Fest of Shivaji College ‘Fragrance’ Ended on Good Note

Botanical Society of Shivaji College had successfully conducted its annual festival ‘Fragrance 2016’ on February 19, 2016. Participation was open to all the students studying Botany as one of the subjects.
 
The inaugural session was conducted at 10 a.m. followed by two lecture session conducted on the topic like 
 
  • Plant Diversity Maintenance: Challenges for Conservationists by Prof. RekhaChaudhury, Scientist-in-Charge, Tissue Culture and Cryopreservation Unit, NBPGR, New Delhi
  • Domestication of Crop Plants: Early Man to Modern Biotechnology by Prof. Suman Lakhanpaul, Department of Botany, University of Delhi,
