ATMA 2018 – AIMS Test for Management Admission is held by Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) in a single window for the admission to various postgraduate management courses. More than 200 B-schools accept the score of ATMA exam. The exam is 5 times in a year. The last attempt of the exam was held on February 25 and now the exam is due to be held in May. AIMS has announced May ATMA 2018 schedule and according to it, the exam date is 27 May 2018. Online registration for the May attempt started on 5 March and the last date to pay the fee is 20 May, while the form can be submitted last by 21 May 2018. The candidates having a Bachelor's degree or those who have appeared for their final year exams of Graduation can appear for this national level management entrance test. All the duly registered candidates will be issued the admit card on 24 May 2018. It will also be available on the official website for the cadidates to download. ATMA 2018 May is a computer based test, where a total of 180 questions will be asked from 6 sections. Duration of the test will be 3 hours. ATMA 2018

Around 200 high ranking Institutes accept the score of ATMA for granting admission to PGDM, PGDBA, MBA, MCM, MCA* (subject to local regulations) and other postgraduate management courses. This entrance exam is considered as one of the most reliable tests and is conducted at least four times a year. ATMA is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India for admission on all India basis to the MBA/PGDM programmes. Since 1988, AIMS has grown into a powerful body of management colleges in India with a membership of over 600 institutes.

ATMA 2018 Eligibility Criteria

As mentioned above, it is important for the ATMA aspirants to meet the eligibility requirements and should apply for the exam only after ensuring the same. Below is the eligibility criteria set by AIMS regarding the ATMA  exam.

  • According to the ATMA 2018 eligibility norms, the candidates applying for the exam must be a citizen of India
  • Applicants must be a graduate or an equivalent qualification under 10+2+3 scheme in any subject from any university recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Additionally, they must enusre that they have obtained at least 50 percent marks in graduation. Candidates must note, these aggregate marks may differ for some institutes.
  • Final year students of graduation can also apply. However, they will have to submit the proof of graduation.
  • There is no age limit.
  • There is no work experience required for ATMA. Both working and non-working candidates can apply for the exam.

ATMA 2018 Application Form 

The online registrations for ATMA 2018 May have commenced. The application form was released on 5 March and the last date to submit the same is 21 May, 2018. However, the payment gateway will close on 20 May 2018, at 5:00 pm. 

Note - To register for the exam, the candidates must use their personal phone number and email id. 

Candidates can refer to the guidelines given below in order to better understand the ATMA 2018 application process - 

  • To apply online, candidates will firstly be required to pay the application fee. After the payment, Personal Identification Number (PID) will be sent to the registered email id of the applicant.
  • Using PID, candidates can now fill the application form. They will be required to enter their personal, qualification, test city choice and work experience details.
  • Once all the information is filled correctly, review and submit the form.
  • After submitting the form, candidates can take the print out of the same.

ATMA 2018 Admit Card

Admit card of ATMA 2018 will be made available for downloading on 24 May, 2018. The hall ticket will be released online on the official website and the exam takers were required to download the same. On the ATMA 2018 admit card, the candidates were required to paste their passport size photographs in the space provided at the time of examination.

To have entry into the exam centre, all the candidates must to carry a print out of the admit card on the date of the exam, failing which they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Along with the admit card, candidates will have to bring the documents such as ATMA receipt issued after making payment of registration fee, a copy of the registration form and photo identification (in original). 

Admit card furnishes the following details:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Roll number of the candidate
  • Date of examination
  • Time of examination
  • Details of the exam center allotted

Steps to download admit card of ATMA 2018

  • Visit the official website.
  • Search ‘ATMA Exam Details’ section. Click on the tab and select their exam date.
  • ‘For the applicants’ tab and select ‘Login for Candidates’ subhead and click on it.
  • You will be redirected to a page that comprises of candidate’s login. Select the test date and enter your PID number and password. Once done, click login.
  • After the successful login, the candidate can print his/ her admit card and paste a passport size photograph on it.

ATMA 2018 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check the exam pattern of ATMA 2018 in order to make the preparation strategy for the exam. There will be a total of 180 questions distributed in 6 sections. There will be 30 multiple choice questions in each section. Duration of the test will be 3 hours. Candidates can have a clear idea regarding the exam pattern from the table given below:

Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given. There is the provision of negative marking. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

ATMA 2018 Exam Centres 

ATMA is conducted at the number of cities across India. All the candidates will be required to select the exam city while filling the application form. They are suggested to choose the exam centres as per their convenience and accessibility. Once the form will be submitted, they will not be able to make any changes. So select the test centre carefully and review it before submitting the form. Candidates must note that any of the below test centers may be canceled, combined or changed depending on the number of candidates in specific centers or new centers year after year.

ATMA​ 2018 Result

The re​sult of ATMA May 2018 to be ​announced around 5 June 2018. To check the result, the candidates will have to visit the official website of AIMS. ATMA 2018 result will be declared in the form of the score card. The candidates will be required to login with their user id and password to access the result. No hardcopy of the score card will be sent to the candidates individually. It furnishes the scores of each section i.e. quantitative, verbal and analytical. Along with sectional marks, overall scores will also be provided. Score card will also include the percentile scores. These scores will remain valid till the next academic session in various universities. The score card is considered as one of the major documents for the admission. Scores obtained in the test will be reported to candidates as well as to the institutes.
