Australia’s La Trobe University Ties up with 3 Indian Institutes

Australia’s La Trobe University has tied up with Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara (JSS) University at Mysore, Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) University and Cummins College at Pune.

Australia’s La Trobe University has tied up with three leading Indian educational institutes to promote student exchange programmes and joint research projects .


The Indian institutes are Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara (JSS) University at Mysore, Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) University and Cummins College at Pune.


“The tie-ups will enable students of JSS, MIT and Cummins to participate in exchange programmes and conduct research projects benefiting students of our university and the three partner institutes,” said Brian McGaw, Dean, Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering at La Trobe.


La Trobe which is known for academic excellence and research achievements has already entered into similar tie-ups early this year with institutes and corporates such as BITS, Pilani, Delhi Technological University, IIT Madras, HCL and Mahindra Reva in February this year.


Since its inception in 1965, about 140,000 students have graduated from the university from its five campuses.
