BCECE 2017

BCECE 2017 is conducted by the BCECE Board every year for admission to various engineering, medical, agricultural and technical programmes at the undergraduate level. It is a common entrance examination, which is conducted for admission to colleges of Bihar. Some major exam centres for BCECE are restricted to Bihar only.

BCECE 2017 Application Process

The Application Procedure for Bihar combined entrance exam will start in February 2017. The application form will be available in online mode only. Candidates can register themselves by following these steps-

Visit the official website at www.bceceboard.com  and then click on the link that says, 'Apply for BCECE-2017'. Register yourself by entering your 'Email ID and Phone No.' After registering, you will get a message on your registered number that you have successfully registered yourself along your user name and password.

Use this user name and password to log in to the website any other time. Pay the registration fees of INR 660 for PCB/PCM group and INR 730 for the PCMB group (For General/other backward class candidates) and INR 330 for PCB/PCM group and INR 365 for the PCMB group (For SC/ST candidates). Finally, fill in all the personal as well as the educational information and dispatch the completed application along the other documents to- "Controller of Examination, B.C.E.C.E. Board, I.A.S. Association Building, Near Patna Airport, P.O.- B.V.College, Patna-800014"

BCECE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

BCECE 2017 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy Programmes

  • Should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized university
  • Should have obtained a minimum aggregate 45% marks in PCM as a whole ( minimum 40% marks for candidates from other Backward caste)

BCECE 2017 Eligibility Criteria for Medical Programmes

  • Should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects from a recognized university
  • Should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all the four subjects (minimum 40% marks for candidates from other backward caste)
  • Age limit- Minimum 17years

BCECE 2017 Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be conducted in two different stages, Stage 1 will take place in April 2017, whereas Stage 2 will take place in May 2017
  • All the questions will be multiple choice based
  • Negative marking- 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
  • The total duration of the Stage 1 exam will be 2 hours and 15 minutes
  • The duration of each subject in  Stage 2 will be 1 hour 30 minutes

BCECE 2017 Syllabus

The syllabus for BCECE 2017 includes brief details about the topics covered under various subjects that are tested in the exam.

Subject: Physics

Nature of Physical Laws, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, etc.

Subject: Chemistry

Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Surface Chemistry, Polymers, etc.

Subject: Biology

Diversity in living world, Cell: Structure & Functions, Plant Physiology, Ecology & Environment, etc.

Subject: Mathematics

Sets, Relations & Functions, Trigonometric Functions, Calculus, Statistics & Probability, Relations & Functions, Algebra, Determinants, etc.

BCECE 2017 Admit Card

The Bihar CET applicants can download their Admit Card from the official website in the last week of March 2017 or the first week of April 2017.

Candidates can follow these steps to download their Admit Cards:

Visit the official website at www.bceceboard.com . Click on the tab that says 'BCECE'. Now, click on the link that says, 'BCECE 2017 Admit Card'. Enter the required details to complete the procedure. Check all the details on the Admit Card before downloading your Admit Cards. Keep extra printouts of the BCECE 2017 Admit Card for future reference.

BCECE 2017 Results

The result for BCECE 2017 will be available on its official website as soon as it is declared by the BCECE Board. The result for BCECE 2017  Stage 1 will be declared in the first week of May 2017 along with the merit list of students who will appear for Stage 2. The result for BCECE Stage 2 will be declared in June 2017.

The further selection will be done as per the norms of the board, and candidates will have to attend the BCECE 2017 counselling for seat allotment and further process.

Candidates can follow these steps for view their BCECE 2017 Results:

Visit the official website at http://bceceboard.com/Home.php. Click on the tab that says, 'BCECE'. Now, click on the tab that says 'BCECE 2017 Results'. Enter all the required information to enter the result page. Once your result is available on the screen, print your result and keep an extra copy for future reference.

BCECE 2017 Counselling

Candidates who clear both the stages of the entrance examination will be called to appear for the BCECE 2017 counselling procedure organized by the board for the allotment of seats.

All the eligible candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling procedure and fill in their choices for college and branch.
Seat allotment at colleges under the BCECE Board depends on the availability of seats in a specific discipline of any college. Seats will be allotted on the basis of the candidate's ranks and choice.
Commencement of classes in all the colleges will take place in August 2017.
