BCECE 2018- Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board will conduct the BCECE 2018 Examination on 29 & 30 April 2018. The entrance test will be held in offline mode. BCECE Exam is a state level common entrance examination held in the state of Bihar for admission in various undergraduate engineering and medical programmes. Eligible candidates can submit their online application form from 02 March 2018, which are available on https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Before filling the BCECE 2018 application form, candidates are suggested to check whether they are eligible for the test or not because the board will not accept the applications of ineligible candidates. The last date to submit the completely filled application form of BCECE 2018 is 28 March.

Along with the forms, candidates have to remit an application fee and upload the necessary documents. Candidates belonging to General and OBC category have to pay Rs. 1000/- whereas SC and ST candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee. BCECE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum age limit to apply online for BCECE 2018 is 17 Years.

For Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy Courses

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized university
  • Should have obtained a minimum aggregate 45% marks in PCM as a whole ( minimum 40% marks for candidates from other Backward castes)

For Medical Courses

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects from a recognized university
  • Should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all the four subjects (minimum 40% marks for candidates from other backward castes)

BCECE 2018 Application Form

Eligible candidates can submit the online application forms from 02 March 2018 to 28 March 2018. Below are the steps to apply online for BCECE 2018

How to Apply for BCECE 2018

  • Visit the official website, https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
  • Now click on the link, 'Apply for BCECE-2018'
  • Register yourself by entering your working 'Email ID and Phone No.'
  • After successful registration, candidates will receive user-name and password on the registered mobile number-
  • With user-name and password, log in to your account and fill “Personal information”
  • Now, upload the scanned images of Photograph and Signature in the mentioned specification
  • After uploading images, fill the Educational information in the provided blanks.
  • Now, pay the registration through Online Payment (Net Banking/ Debit/ Credit Card) or Bank Challan
  • After online registration, candidates have to send the hard copy of application along with the other documents to- "Controller of Examination, B.C.E.C.E. Board, I.A.S. Association Building, Near Patna Airport, P.O.- B.V.College, Patna-800014"

BCECE 2018 Application Fees

  • For General/other backward class candidates- INR 1000 for PCB/PCM group and INR 1100 for the PCMB group
  • For SC/ST candidates- INR 500 for PCB/PCM group and INR 550 for the PCMB group

BCECE 2018 Admit Card

 The Board will release the admit card of BCECE 2018 on 15 April in online mode. Candidates have to provide their user name or registration number and password in order to download the admit card.   • Visit the official website https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
  • Now, Click on the link, 'BCECE 2018 Admit Card'
  • Enter the registration number and password to complete the procedure
  • Download the admit card and bring the same to appear in the test.

BCECE 2018 Exam Pattern

  • The entrance test will be held in offline or Pen and Paper mode
  • The question paper will comprise of multiple choices questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology
  • 04 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • There will be negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • The total duration of test will be 4 hours 30 minutes.
  • Candidates should only use blue or black pens.

The syllabus for BCECE 2018 includes brief details about the topics covered under various subjects that are tested in the exam.

Subject: Physics- Nature of Physical Laws, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, etc.

Subject: Chemistry- Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Surface Chemistry, Polymers, etc.

Subject: Biology- Diversity in living world, Cell: Structure & Functions, Plant Physiology, Ecology & Environment, etc.

BCECE 2018 Answer Key 

The BCECE answer keys 2018 will be released a few days after the commencement of examination that will comprise of the correct answers to the questions asked in BCECE 2018. With the help of answer key, candidates can calculate their estimated scores before the official result announcement. Candidates need to follow the marking scheme of BCECE 2018 to calculate the correct scores.

BCECE 2018 Result

The result of BCECE 2018 will be released online on or before 05th June 2018 by the BCECE Board. Candidates have to visit the official website to check the scores. The result will contain the scores and rank of the candidates. On the basis of scores, candidates will be admitted to the colleges of Bihar. The further selection will be done as per the norms of the board, and candidates will have to attend the BCECE 2018 counselling for seat allotment and further process.

BCECE 2018 Cutoff

The BCECE cutoff 2018 is the minimum scores or ranks required to get the admission that includes the opening and closing rank in a particular branch and college. The cutoff will be released at the time of seat allotment process. Candidates need to secure the minimum cutoff ranks for admission into the desired college. Several factors are deemed by the concerned authorities while determining the cutoff marks. The cutoff marks are different for different course and institute.

BCECE 2018 Counselling

Candidates who clear the entrance examination will be called to appear for the BCECE 2018 counselling procedure organized by the board for the allotment of seats. All eligible candidates will have to register for the counselling procedure and fill in their college and branch choices. Seat allotment depends on the seats’ availability in a specific discipline of any college and on the basis of the candidate's ranks and choice. Classes will be commenced from August 2018.
