BCECE Result 2018- Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board will announce the result of BCECE 2018 on the official website, https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, on or before 05 June 2018. BCECE 2018 Examination, a state-level entrance test, is scheduled to be conducted on 29 & 30 April 2018 for admission in various undergraduate engineering and medical courses offered by the colleges/ institutes of Bihar. The BCECE result will contain the rank and scores obtained by the candidates. Candidates should have their BCECE roll number and date of birth in order to view their BCECE 2018 result online. Final admission to colleges will be awarded on the basis of the BCECE merit list. Candidates should keep a copy of BCECE 2018 result for future use. How to Check BCECE Result 2018?

The result will be declared online on or before 05th June 2018 by the BCECE Board on its official website.  The result will be announced in the form of pdf file. Candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps in order to check the BCECE result-

  • Visit the official website at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
  • Click on the tab 'BCECE 2018 Result'.
  • Enter all the required information i.e. BCECE roll number and date of birth in order the view result page.
  • Once your BCECE result is available on the screen, take a print copy your result and keep an extra copy for future reference.

BCECE Result 2018 - Tie-Breaking Guidelines

The exam conducting authority will follow the below given tie-breaking mechanism to award a unique rank to candidates who will attain the same scores-

  • If two or more candidates secured the same score, then candidate having more marks in Mathematics be allotted a higher rank.
  • If candidates’ scores are also similar in Mathematics, then candidate having more marks in Physics will attain a higher rank.
  • If the candidates’ scores are same in Mathematics and Physics, then the elder candidate will be given preference.

BCECE 2018 Cutoff

The cutoff is the minimum scores or ranks required to attain in response to get the admission that consists of the opening and closing rank of a particular branch and college. During seat allotment process, the BCECE cutoff marks will be issued. Candidates have to obtain the minimum cutoff ranks for getting admission into the desired college. BCECE 2018 Counselling

On the basis of merit list, BCECE counselling will be organized by the board for seat allotment and final admission process. The counselling procedure will be conducted online where candidates have to first register themselves with obtained BCECE scores and fill in their choices of branches and colleges. After that, the seat availability and previous year’s opening and closing rank will be considered to award a seat.
