“Blood donation will cost you nothing but it will save a life"

A Blood Donation Camp hosted by NIT, Kurukshetra on November 21, 2015 in co-ordination with Indian Red Cross Society Kurukshetra. This social event is carried out by ROOH “ek muheem”, the social and cultural society of NIT, Kurukshetra every year. The camp started at 9:00 A.M and went up to 3:00P.M in ED Hall with a steady stream of donors throughout.

More than 250 students and faculties from NITK were allowed to donate their blood as the donor went through series of medical check-ups before donating the blood. 350ml blood was collected from each donor.

All the members of the society participated voluntarily in this camp. Refreshments were provided to the students who were part of the camp and the donors received certificate of recognition from the society. Overall, this event ended with heightened response from all.
