Founded in 2005, the institute has its head office at Ahmedabad and has 21 centres across India. The arts, design and portfolio consultancy is giving shape to the careers of over 5,000 students every year. The Institute focuses on coaching students who wish to make a career in design, arts and architecture. A majority of the students at NID have been trained under the studio. The studio trains aspirants to equip themselves with the nuances of design that will help them secure a seat at NID.
With aspirants from all over India competing against each other to secure a seat from the 100 placements at NID, getting an admission here isn't easy. On an average, every year, almost 45 plus students who are coached at the Studio secure admission to NID's Bachelor of Design programme.
At NID, the total number of students selected to the Bachelors of Design and GDPD is 81 and the total number of selection for the Master of Design course is 57. A total of 138 BRDS students secured admission at NID this year. Over 650 students from BRDS have secured seats at NID in the last few years.
BRDS provides guidance to design and arts aspirants through aptitude tests, coaching lessons to prepare for the entrance exams and admission counselling. The studio is conducting an aptitude test and a career counselling session for students who wish to make a career in design, architecture or arts.
