‘Renaissance’ showcased the "Star Performances" by famous singers – RAFTAAR and winner of Voice of India Gaurav Kumar.
Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research, New Delhi hosted its annual techno-management cultural fest ‘Renaissance’ with a bang. Being the most anticipated festival of the year, the event witnessed an overall footfall of 10,000 visitors from all over India comprising various colleges and universities.
The inauguration of the fest was done on February 17, 2017, with the announcement of a two-day event filled with fun elements. Day 1 witnessed events like Rangoli, Dumb Shall Act, Sur Sangram, Gully Cricket, Face painting, Broker Street, Shootout at Rena, Geet Gata Chal, Tug of War, Fashion Fiesta.
Day 2 of the event started with great performances by the street players of different colleges showcasing their talent in the form of Nukkad Natak.
Various other events like Kagazi Gudiya, Solo Dancing, Documentary Making etc. were also the centre of attraction of the day. Students, not only from Bharati Vidyapeeth but from other colleges too participated in large no. in various events. Also, the winners of various events were awarded trophies and certificates during the Valedictory ceremony.
Apart from competitions and contests, the event was graced with "Star Performances" by famous singers - RAFTAAR on February 17th and Voice of India winner – Gaurav Kumar on February 18, 2017, who created a musical aura, thereby giving a flavour of a jamming session to the audience.
For this success, all credit goes to the student coordinators and the faculty for their strive to make it a huge one. The efforts of the students and teachers involved in organizing the event were highly appreciated. The whole event coverage was done by the Media society of the college "Flash".
