BVIMR's Social and Eco Club hosted a ‘Food Donation Drive’ for the kids of an orphanage named ‘Moksha Foundation’.
It's not necessary that happiness can be shared with your loved ones only. We can make others happy too, especially God's gems the small little kids. Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research (BVIMR's) Social and Eco Club proved it again. December 24, 2016 a day which will be remembered forever. As a part of enlightening and filling the hearts of the kids with immense joy and happiness, BVIMR's Eco and Social club organised a ‘Food Donation Drive’ for the kids of an orphanage named ‘Moksha Foundation’ situated in Dwarka. We all celebrate Christmas going to church or go out with friends to enjoy, but for a change this time these students became Santa for those needy kids.
Volunteers from classes were selected and were asked to bring homemade food for these kids be it home made Choley Chawal’, Aloo Puris’ to serving homemade cupcakes. It gave immense joy serving them and their screams for having more, indicated that they too liked it very much. Sometimes we don't recognize but these little things give so much pleasure to our hearts and it feels as if there was a connection with the almighty, that somehow God too was watching and showering his blessings while they were served. Students are thankful to all the coordinators, respected teachers for their support & guidance and especially the core team members who devoted their time for such a cause.
