BVPEEE 2013: Exam Pattern & Eligibility Criteria

The College of Engineering of the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune is conducting the BVPEEE 2013 (Bharti Vidyapeeth Engineering Entrance Exam) for admissions to its B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) courses for the academic session that begins in 2013.
Exam Pattern of BVPEEE 2013:
The paper will be set in English medium and will contain 200 multiple choice objective type questions with four options: A, B , C , & D with only one correct choice. It will consist 100 questions on Mathematics and 100 questions on Physics.
Subject Question Numbers Marks
Mathematics 1 to 100 100
Physics 101 to 200 100
Each question carries one mark. There will not be negative marking.
Eligibility Criteria for BVPEEE 2013:
The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C.) or the Indian School CertificateExamination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 or HSC examination of any recognised Board/ University fromany school/college situated in India.
- The minimum Qualifications for admissions in B.Tech. Programme : The candidate should be passed in 10+2 (qualifying) examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith any one of the following optional subject.
a) Chemistry b) Computer Science c) Bio-Technology d) Biology - The candidate should also have passed in the subjects Physics and Mathematics and optional subject individually and must have obtained at least 50 per cent marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one optional subject taken together at the qualifying exam i.e. 10 + 2 / HSC/ equivalent. (ForSC/ STcandidates 45 per cent).
- Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i. e. H.S.C. etc. but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for CET (Engineering) - 2013, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examinations. However, they should produce mark sheet of HSC at time of counselling.
