Mr. Wishwas Julka, the Vice-President- Global Tata Group Sales at Tata Technologies invoked the budding management professionals to be good humans
In its series of guest speakers, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar hosted very experienced and multi-talented Wishwas Julka, Vice President- Global Tata Group Sales at Tata Technologies.
Day began with a welcome note from the Industry Interaction Cell of IIM Amritsar. In the interactive session, Mr. Julka invoked the budding management professionals to be good human beings and to aim big in life by connecting with people around us, being honest and respecting others in the company and learning constantly from the immense knowledge repository that lies around us. He guided students about the future prospects and the skill set requirement of various management disciplines in the industry. He guided on how to leverage the plethora of opportunities available in the newly established institutes like IIMs. He also shared various anecdotes about his experiences and his journey from college to the corporate.
As the session proceeded, students witnessed the different facets of accomplished and brilliant Mr. Julka. His singing skills mesmerized the participants and everybody joined the chorus.
Participants acknowledged the importance of honesty and modesty in life after the interaction with the keynote speaker. Session concluded with a thank you note from the students of IIM Amritsar for this thought provoking and interesting address.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Amritsar was coined in the year 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development with the support of Government of Punjab. It is the 15th institute of IIM. The first batch of students is being enrolled for the class of 2015-17. The objective of the institute is to impart global standard of management to fulfil the needs & requirements of the various business houses by producing exceptionally talented professionals.
Institute was inaugurated by the Sardar Surjit Singh Rakhra, Minister of Higher Education and Languages, Punjab on 6 August, 2015. Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Amritsar is comes the under the guidance of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, one of the top five institutes of management in India.
