The admit cards for candidates who have applied for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 were released on October 25, 1pm onwards. Aspirants can download the admit cards from the official website - iimcat.ac.in

The CAT online exam will be conducted on November 29, 2015.

CAT is taken by candidates seeking admission in the Post-Graduate (PG) and Fellow Programmes in management courses of various management institutes in the country including the IIMs. As of now, over 100 B-Schools in India accept the CAT scores.

The CAT 2015 selection process will be held in three stages: the online exam, the written aptitude test (WAT) or group discussion (GD) and the personal interview (PI).

A few changes have been introduced in the exam pattern from this year. The online test will have three sections - QA (quantitative aptitude), DILR (data interpretation and logical reasoning) and VRC (verbal and reading comprehension).

According to experts, the number of questions per section would be - QA: 34, DILR: 32 and VRC :34. Candidates would not be able to switch between sections at any point during the test. Each of the sections will be allotted 60 minutes each, ie, an overall time of 180 minutes.

Non-multiple choice-type questions are being introduced this year and a few answers will have to be typed on the screen. Use of basic on-screen calculator will be permitted during the test.
