Boys dominate this year with 11 aspirants securing above 99 percentile in CAT 2015

The most awaited Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 results were declared on Friday, 8th January 2016. Around 1.80 lakhs students appeared for CAT 2015 examination that was held on November 29, 2015. As per the data collected by a Mohali based CAT preparation coaching centre, Bulls Eye, as many as 11 students scored above 99 percentile in CAT 2015.

Saurabh Aul, a probationary officer (PO) at the State Bank of India (SBI), tops the tri-city with 99.85 percentile in CAT 2015. The topper, in an interview, said “I used to study for the exam after the office hours till midnight. I focused on practicing about two to three mock tests per week and analysing my mistakes”.

Besides Saurabh, the other 10 students scoring above 99 percentile are Mukesh Goyal (99.72), Kalpendu Rawat (99.7), Puneet Singh Sachdeva (99.69), Shubham Gaba (99.42), Akash Chaudhary (99.41), Swar (99.32), Yajur Nagi (99.24), Lavanya (99.2), Pusharok Dohroo (99.11) and Tushar Sharma (99.08).

According to Bulls Eye director Hirdesh Madan, “One of the students Mukesh Goyal from PEC has scored 100 percentile in the quantitative aptitude section, and is the all-India topper for this section.”

As per Google Trends, the term ‘CAT 2015 result’ became the most trending search of the day on Friday. Jharkhand, Haryana and Chhattisgarh were the top states googling this term, while Roorkee and Durgapur were the top cities searching this keyword.

Students appeared for CAT 2015 received their percentile through SMS on their registered mobile numbers.

IIMs, University Business School (UBS), Chitkara Business School are some of the eminent colleges in Punjab accepting CAT 2015 scores.
