The CBSE 12th results are out and this year too girls have shown dominance over boys.  

CBSE Class XII results were declared on 21st May 2016  and it witnessed Sukriti Gupta of Montfort School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi scoring a jaw-dropping 99.4 percent, clinching the top position (topper in all categories) at all India level. Haryana girl, Palak Goyal, clinched the 2nd position. Hence; the dominance is quite evident.

How to check CBSE 2016 Result

1)   Those who want to check the CBSE 2016 results can reach out to www.results.nic.inwww.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in any of these official websites of the board by clicking on the links provided here.

2)   Just click on the link provided for the CBSE 12th result on the homepage of the official website.

3)   This will take you to a new window wherein the students need to fill in their Roll No and School No.

4)   After clicking on the ‘Submit’ button, students will be able to see their results.

In addition to this, Students can also obtain their results through IVRS system by calling on (011) 24300699 and (011) 28127030. Students can also send SMS writing cbse12 to 51115 to get their results.

CBSE 2016 Results Analysis: Pass Percentage

The total number of students who took the exam this year is 1,499,122 wherein 446,641 are girls and 621,259 boys. The overall pass percentage of the CBSE 2016 results is 92 percent which saw a considerable increase from last year’s pass percentage of 83%.

In the CBSE result 2016, the pass percentage for boys is 78.85% whereas the pass percentage for girls is 88.58. Palak Goyal of Tagore Public School, Kurukshetra (Haryana) has secured the second position in CBSE 12th exams with 99.2 percent marks. Ajish Shekhar from Chennai secured the third position. However, Sarthak Agarwal’s 99.6 percent feat achieved in 2014 still remains the highest CBSE class 12th result ever.

CBSE 2016 Results Analysis: Region Wise

South India has done far better than any other reasons in India as Thiruvananthapuram Region clinched a pass percentage of 97.61 overall, followed by Chennai with a pass percentage of over 92.63.
