CBSE Class 12th Result 2017 To Be Declared In The Last Week of May

One of the much-awaited events among students who took the high school exam is the CBSE class 12th result. Students check different education websites every day to get updates on result declaration dates. Good news for students waiting for CBSE 12th results is that the results will be out by the last week of May 2017.x

CBSE class 12 result 2017 is a highly important event in lives of students who took senior secondary exams. This year, around 10.98 lakh students appeared for CBSE class 12th exams, all of whom are now waiting for their result. Although Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not given any date for declaration results, based on previous year’s dates, many people are expecting this year’s result to be out on May 21. However, there is no official confirmation of the date.

Due to Assembly Elections in five states including Punjab, Manipur, Goa, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, this year’s exams were postponed. Keeping this in the mind, people are also making assumptions of a delay in results. However, CBSE board has been trying hard to release results on time to ensure that students don’t face any problem in admission for undergraduate courses.

Different websites are claiming various dates including May 24, 25 and 27 for the declaration of result. Though there is no confirmation on any specific date, it has been made sure by the senior officials that CBSE class 12 results 2017 will be out in the last week of May.

Once the result link is activated by the board, students can check their result on the official website ( and Due to heavy traffic on the websites, students might face some technical glitches, but instead of getting frustrated, they should wait for some time.

To manage the traffic on the official websites and to help students check their results without any inconvenience, the authorities will also give access to some other websites, where students will be able to access their results for CBSE class 12.

This year, nearly 10, 98,891 students sat for the exams which included 4, 60,026 girls and 6, 38,865 boys. As the exams were delayed, these were conducted from March 9 to April 29, 2017.

CBSE class 10 and 12 results in 2016 were declared on May 21 and May 28 respectively.
