CBSE JEE Main Results 2016 Expected on April 27

JEE Main results 2016 are expected to be declared on April 27, 2016 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2016 was conducted on April 3, 2016 (Paper based test) and April 9 and 10, 2016 (Computer based test).



As per the official notice, the score card of paper 1 of JEE (Main) 2016 will include actual marks obtained by the candidate. The score card of JEE Main 2016 will also declare the eligibility of those who will qualify to appear for JEE Advanced.

The Board will prepare a separate rank list for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.)/Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.)/Bachelor of Planning (B. Planning) (in institutions other than IITs) on the basis of the score obtained by the candidates in JEE Main 2016 and normalised score at 10+2 level or equivalent qualifying exam. The weightage of marks will be distributed in a ratio of 60:40 respectively.

JEE Main score card 2016 will be made available on official website of JEE (Main) once the results are declared. The rank card will indicate the All India Rank, State Rank and Category Rank of the candidate.

No hard copy of the score card will be sent to the candidates. The students are advised to download the rank card from the official website. All India Rank (AIR) will be used to grant admissions through Central Seat Allocation Board to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, SFIs or others, whereas rest of the ranks are for information purposes.
