After NEET 2018 admit card, CBSE releases the dress code guidelines and asked the aspirants to adhere to them dutifully.
After releasing National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) 2018 admit card on April 17, 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has released a new notification about the dress code for the exam, dictating what students should wear on the exam day and what not. The notification came with a long list of rules precisely about what dress code students need to follow on the D-day.
Keeping the hassles that took place last year in mind, CBSE has released a separate dress code for the male and female candidates. Both male and female students have been asked to bear half sleeves light coloured clothes without any badges, brooches, buttons or any other kind of ornamental accessories whatsoever with trousers or salwars either. Shoes have been banned for both male and female students entirely and only low heels and sandals will be allowed inside the examination centres.
Candidates who come wearing clothes signifying religiousness like a skull cap, burqa or turban need to report at the exam centre one hour before the commencement of the exam. Other than specifying what kind of dress students needs to wear on NEET exam day, CBSE has also prohibited students from carrying pens and pencils or any kind of stationary as well as communication devices to the exam hall. Candidates, however, can carry their water bottles inside the exam hall.
CBSE has also stressed the importance of dress code and has asked all the students to adhere to it dutifully when they sit for the exam on May 6, 2018. The exam will be conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM. Moreover, CBSE has released NEET 2018 admit card on its official website. Candidates can reach out to the official website to download their NEET admit card. The measures have been taken just to avoid the chaos on the exam day.
