CEED 2016 Result Declaration Postponed to March 19, 2016

The results of the design entrance CEED were to be announced today. However, they will now be announced on March 19, 2016

The results for Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2016 organised by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, will be be declared on March 19, 2016. Earlier, the declaration of CEED Result 2016 was to be done on January 15, 2016.

The exam was successfully conducted on December 6, 2015.

After the declaration of the results, CEED Score Cards will be made available for downloading on the official website. No hard copy of the score card will be sent to the candidates. The students need to download the score card and take a print out for future reference. 

Qualifying in the test will not guarantee admission in any programme. Aspirants have to apply for admission and have to undergo the process completely wherein other requirements will be given due weightage. Admitting institutes will be verifying the eligibility, the category certificate and other necessary documents along with the CEED Score Card.

The CEED score will be valid for one year from the date of declaration of results.

CEED is a national level test conducted by IIT-Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Government of India. The exam is organised to assess a student’s aptitude for design comprising of visual perception ability, drawing skills, and logical reasoning, creativity, and communication skills.

CEED 2016 is divided into two parts, namely Part A which is an online segment that contains three sections and Part B containing 5 questions which have to be answered in the answer book provided by the invigilator
