The score cards will be available on the official website from January 22, 2016 onwards.
CEED 2016 was held on December 6, 2015 across 13 cities in India. The exam was originally scheduled to be conducted in 14 cities, but it was scrapped in Chennai due to floods.
The exam for the applicants who registered for CEED 2016 from Chennai centres was then postponed and the fresh date of the entrance exam is yet to be declared by IIT Bombay.
Conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (M.Des.) courses offered at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D programmes in Design at some Institutes.
It is carried out to assess the candidates’ aptitude for design involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity and communication skills.
Apart from qualifying in CEED, aspirants may have to take further tests and/or interviews for the final selection/admission in any of the above programmes.
In addition to the CEED score, admitting Institutes will also verify the eligibility, the category certificates and other documents.
There is no age limit to appear for CEED and a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times. The CEED 2016 score is valid for a period of one year from the date of announcement of the results.
