CIT Organises One day industrial visit to ‘HAL Heritage Centre’

A team of 115 students from Cambridge Institute of Technology visited ‘HAL Heritage Centre’ Bangalore recently.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Cambridge Institute of Technology organized a one day industrial visit to ‘HAL Heritage Centre’ Bangalore.
With the prior permission and guidance of HOD Dr. Indumathi. G, a total of 115 students along with 2 faculty Prof. Srinivasalu. G and Prof. Basavaraju. C headed towards their destination on September 23, 2016. Onsite guidance given by Ms. Gautama made it easier for the students to grab every minute things related to LCA (Light combat Aircraft division) with practical insights. 
They also had audio video presentation on the development of propulsion system and gas turbine followed by a visit to Heritage centre and Aerospace Museum where a number of aircrafts and aero engines were on display.  
The visit has been proved as an excellent exposure to the pre-final year students with maelstrom of knowledge they received on Aviation. The technical details provided by the company will benefit the students for sure. All the staff members and students were extremely thankful to the Honorable Chairman, Sri. D.K. Mohan, Principal, Dr. Suresh. L, Head of the department, Dr. Indumathi.  G  for granting and arranging this visit.
