Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) is a combined entrance test for undergraduate and post graduate courses for all the National Law Universities (NLU) across the country. This year, there was a 20% hike in the number of applications received by the University. About 40,000 students from around the nation took the entrance exam competing for a total of 1,700 undergraduate seats among the participating 16 NLUs.
The final and fourth allotment list, consisting of the upgraded and waitlisted candidates has been released. Students can check their result by clicking here.
The participating NLUs should complete the admission against 4th allotment list between July 2 and July 4, 2015 (Thursday to Saturday). Candidates upgrading their universities will be required to pay the difference in the fee, if any, at the time of on the spot admission to the new college. Documents and any other submitted originals will be transferred to the newly allotted university.
The date for the closure of the entire admission procedure for CLAT 2015 is July 6, 2015 (Monday).
The exam was held on May 10 and the revised result was released on June 6 by this year’s organizer Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University. The initial result was declared on May 19, however due to the lack of unanimity and errors in the answer key for two questions, a new list was released.
