CMAT Application Form 2018
AICTE is scheduled to release CMAT application form 2018 in the second week of October 2017. CMAT exam form can only be accessed online; hence candidates need to visit the official website of AICTE to register online. CMAT application form process comprises of several steps including registration, payment of fee, and filling CMAT application form. Before any applicant sit for CMAT registration, one must ensure that s/he satisfies CMAT eligibility criteria.  More than 80,000 students are expected to appear for CMAT exam this year.
 
Common Management Admission Test 2018 (CMAT) is conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) all over the country. This is a national level MBA admission examinant which is organized for admission to PGDM, PGCM, Executive MBA, MBA etc. CMAT score is accepted by colleges and universities which are affiliated to AICTE. A computer based exam, CMAT is expected to be conducted in January 2018.
We will soon provide a link direct to CMAT Application Form 2018 once AICTE releases official notifications. Candidates will have two months to finish CMAT form submission process which is to be done at www.aicte-cmat.in. CMAT application form can be downloaded once the candidates finish registration process. CMAT result is expected to be released out in February 2018. Candidates can apply in more than thousand management colleges/institutes which are approved by AICTE. Let us first have a look at the important dates of CMAT exam before proceeding to filling up the application form. 

CMAT Exam Dates 2018

Earlier CMAT used to be conducted twice a year till 2015. But now, AICTE conducts this famous MBA entrance examination once a year. It is important to first know all CMAT 2018 schedule. AICTE is yet to announce the official dates for CMAT 2018. Though we have prepared a list based on the previous trends of CMAT. We will soon update these dates once the official notification of CMAT 2018 dates is released by AICTE. Following is the table which contains all CMAT important dates 2018.

It is important for the candidates to understand CMAT eligibility criteria so that they can come to know who can apply for CMAT 2018 and what the basic norms and conditions which are to be qualified such academic background.

What are the eligibility criteria to fill CMAT Application Form 2018? 

This is very important for the candidates to know about basic conditions of filling the form. CMAT eligibility criteria 2018 include the minimum norms which the candidates need to fulfil in order to register for CMAT 2018. It is very important for the candidates to first read CMAT eligibility criteria carefully before s/he proceed for CMAT application 2018.   1. Candidates who are applying for CMAT 2018 should be citizen of India.
  2. Candidates who are applying for CMAT 2018 should be graduate with a three years bachelor’s degree. 
  3. Candidates in the final year of bachelor’s degree can also apply. 
  4. There is no official age limit for CMAT exam. 
  5. Links to registration will expire after last date of CMAT registration 2018. Hence submit the form within deadline.
If a candidate doesn’t meet out these eligibility criteria for CMAT 2018, s/he will be rejected at any stage of admission procedure. Hence, it is important to keep things in mind and follow the guidelines carefully. CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2018 as per Specific Management Programs 
 
There are certain minimum requirements which CMAT aspirants need to qualify in order to be able to register for CMAT. The table mentioned below contains information of eligibility criteria according to the management programs.

Before you start filling up CMAT Application Form 2018, make sure you have following things with you:
  1. You should have a high speed internet access so that CMAT registration process can be uninterrupted. 
  2. Keep all the documents required handy with you while registering for CMAT 2018. 
  3. Keep your scanned photo with you. Also, a clear scanned image of signature done in black ink on white paper. 
  4. You need to have a personal, valid contact number. Also, you need to have a valid email address for registration. Keep in mind that the contact number and email address will be used for future communication. 
  5. Keep a valid credit or debit card with you in order to make CMAT registration payment. 
  6. You should have a printer connected to the computer/laptop so that you can take print out of required documents. 

Step by Step Guide to CMAT Application Form 2018

After verifying CMAT eligibility criteria, the candidates can proceed with online CMAT application process. CMAT application form 2018 date is expected to release in the second week of October 2017. Candidates need to ensure that they put correct information i.e. personal, academic etc. properly.  CMAT application procedure 2018 includes the following steps:
  • CMAT online registration 
  • CMAT Application fee payment 
  • CMAT application form filling
Eligible candidates can fill CMAT application form 2018 for admission to management programs in more than 1000 B – schools in India which are approved by AICTE. Follow the process to fill CMAT application form 2018 given below: 

Online Registration of CMAT 2018

Most of the candidates are expected to be the new users; hence, they need to register fresh. They need to create a new account. In this step, candidates are required to put basic, personal information. After filling the columns in this step, candidates should recheck so that they make no mistake in CAMT registration process. After, verifying the information properly, candidates are required to click ‘Submit’ button in order to proceed to the next step of CMAT application 2018. 
  • Read the instructions carefully 
  • Proceed with self – registration process 
  • Fill required details carefully 
  • A password will be generated and will be sent to registered mail and mobile number 
  • Login with the details to complete CMAT registration process. 
Step 1 of online registration 
 
At first the candidates need to visit official website of AICTE and there they are required to click on “New Registration” tab. There, the candidates are required to read all the instructions given carefully and they need to agree on declaration so that they can move to the next step of registration process. Once AICTE officially announces the release of application form, we will also provide a direct link for registration process of CMAT 2018
 
Step 2 of Online Registration
 
 
Once you accept the declaration given there, you will be directed to a new page of “New User Registration”. There at this form, you will have to put some personal information for example:
  1. Candidate’s name 
  2. Parent’s name
  3. Date of Birth
  4. Category
  5. Gender 
  6. Religion 
  7. Physical disability 
  8. Mobile Number 
  9. Email address etc. 

You need to select three test cities of your choice. Few of the main CMAT test cities are mentioned here.
 
 
CMAT is a national level MBA entrance exam. Eligible students from all over the country take this exam for admission in AICTE approved colleges. AICTE conducts this exam in several cities for the convenience of the students. Following is the list of the main cities where CMAT 2018 is going to be conducted:
  1. Delhi 
  2. Hyderabad 
  3. Bangalore 
  4. Kolkata
  5. Chandigarh 
  6. Mumbai 
  7. Patna

After filling up all the required information in registration form, you are required to click on submit. There is an option of Reset where you can reset the form back to blank. After clicking on Submit button, a six digit password will be created for you. The password will be reflected on the monitor screen also you will receive the same in the email which you have registered also you will receive the same information on the registered mobile phone number. These login details are needed for foing log in into the student account. For this, you need to click on ‘Existing User’ button
 
Step 3 of Online Registration
 
In the next step, you need to click on “Proceed” button which will direct you to the next step of CMAT registration 2018. There you need to make payment of CMAT 2018. From there, you can choose any payment mode as per your convenience and can make payment for CMAT application form 2018.  
CMAT Application Fee Payment
 
Next step after online registration is fee payment of CMAT 2018. In this step, the candidates are required to make payment which is required for CMAT application registration. There are three following modes of payment:
  1. Credit/Debit Card payment 
  2. Cash deposit in SBI Bank 
  3. Net Banking

There will be bank charges extra along with the amount to be paid for CMAT application 2018. If the candidates are paying by cash at the bank, candidates need to take three copies of challan.

Payment Guidelines for CMAT 2018
As mentioned above, there are three methods of making payment. Here we will discuss the payment guidelines. Once can make payment of CMAT application fee 2018 in following ways:
 
Online Mode: For online mode of payment, candidates can pay CMAT application fee using debit card/credit card/Net banking. By selecting any of these options, candidates can start payment procedure. Once the payment is done successfully, the candidates will get a confirmation mail on the registered email ID and a confirmation mail on the registered mobile number. Once the payment is made, the candidates can proceed with filling the rest of application form. 
 
Offline Mode: In this mode of payment, the candidates are required to select Pay by Cash option. Candidates need to have a print out of the challan and fill the required information. After this, candidates are required to visit SBI Bank and submit the application amount with challan form. Candidates need to keep in mind that they have to make fee payment after 24 hours of generation of challan in a nearest State Bank of India. Once the candidates make the payment, they can proceed with the rest of process. 
  1. Opt for any given payment method i.e. online or cash payment.
  2. Confirmation mail will be sent to registered email on successful payment.
Step 4 of online registration
 
The next step after making payment is uploading the images of photographs. Guidelines for uploading the images to the form have been mentioned here. You have to upload the images as per the guidelines mentioned otherwise the images won’t be accepted. At the same page, you will be asked to mention your postal address. 
Guidelines for Uploading Scanned Images
 
Make sure that the images you upload to the application form are of following dimensions:

Photograph image (JPEG)

  • A recent, clear image with white                 background
  • Image size should not exceed 60KB
  • Dimensions should be 140x160

Signature (JPEG)

  • Signature done on a white paper
  • Size shouldn’t be more than 30KB
  • Dimensions should be 60x90

 

Step 5 of online registration 
 
Once you upload the images there, you will reach to Qualification Details section where you need to fill the details of your qualifications such as details of 12th, Bachelor’s, board, university etc. as mentioned in the form.
Step 6 of online registration 
 
After fishing the Qualification Details section, you will reach to the last step of CMAT registration process 2018. You can have a look of the preview of the complete form so that if you need to make any changes you can do that by clicking View/Modify in the form. It’s better to fill the form carefully with peaceful mind so that you don’t put any wrong information. The process will end by agreeing on final declaration which will finish online registration of CMAT application form 2018. 
 
You should take print out of CMAT application form 2018 and keep it safe so that you can use it for any future reference.
