CUJ Students Shine in 3rd Students Annual Conclave of KIIT University

Students from Central University of Jharkhand won various prizes in 3rd Students Annual Conclave of KIIT University.

It is a proud moment for entire CUJ family to have a team with intellectual who won various prizes in 3rd Students Annual Conclave of KIIT University.
A team comprising of six members of 4th year of Centre for Business Administration, Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) participated in 3rd Students Annual Conclave hosted by KIIT School of Rural Management, Bhubaneswar and managed to win prizes in various competitions.
Entitled as Sangati 2016, the conclave revolved around the topic ‘CSR – a tool for rural development’. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Srinu M, Head Learning and Development, Reliance Foundation and Prof. L K Vaswani, Director KIIT School of Rural Management.
Contestants from 12 B-Schools across the country competed in 4 rounds. The Central University of Jharkhand performed exceptionally well and secured prizes in 3 events. The team comprised of Vaibhav Kumar & Nidhi won the 2nd prize in the ‘Leading Edge’- a competition on innovative CSR model and got a cash prize of INR 10,000.
The team of Vaibhav Kumar, Rishi Kumar, Akanchha, Nidhi, Rohan Kumar Shaw & Kumari Priya swept 2nd prize in the ‘Thunderbolt’ a surprise and won INR 3,000 cash. An another team comprised of Rishi Kumar & Rohan Kumar Shaw grabbed 3rd prize in the  ‘Talking Heads’- a debate on CSR and secured a cash prize of INR 2,500.
The CUJ team all together took home INR 15, 500 by becoming the winner of various competitions and brought laurels to the institute. Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jharkhand Prof. Nand Kumar Yadav Indu’ congratulated the winners on this occasion.
