National Institute of Technology, Silchar conducted a number of mind boggling events under its roof, the gala named Cyber Warp. Events included Web Spydr, Codigo Mistreo, Pixelate, Dubsmash and Doodle Pad with the total prizes worth Rs. 59,000/- in all. The detailed information about the events is as under:
This was a one of its kind online treasure hunt/puzzle solving event that challenged the limits of the participants’ knowledge, lateral thinking skills and mental endurance. The top entries were based on their timestamp of completion were considered as the winners. Abhishek Kumar, Ronit Kumar and Udit Varshney were the coordinators for the event and the Prizes worth Rs. 5,000/-.

- Competition to be live on HackerEarth from October 28, 2015 to November 1, 2015.
- New Questions will be added in the contest every day.
- One will come across to questions from a difficulty level of ‘noob’ to ‘God Mode’.
- Last date to solve maximum of questions is November 1, 2015.
Each question will carry some marks depending upon the difficulty of the questions, winners will be decided depending upon the scores/points. Top three scorers will win prizes worth INR 10,000/- apart from the goodies from HackerEarth.

To make this possible, Tecnoesis’15-Annual Technical Fest of NIT Silchar, in association with Obiettivo-Photography Club NIT Silchar gets Pixelate, the online photography competition.

Tecnoesis’15 also brings you an extravaganza to have some fun with. All what is to be done is just download and install the Dubsmash app on your smart phone and record video of yours with an audio in the background and send it. Deadlines for submission is October 25, 2015 till 11:59 PM. Results will be announced on/after October 30, 2015.
Tecnoesis’15 promised to reward the winners with Tecnoesis Goddies.
This was a simple drawing that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be of abstract shape. The theme of the doodle should be “Tecnoesis: The Annual Techno-Management Fest of NIT Silchar” and the entries should be submitted before October 30, 2015 in JPG or PNG format along with their personal details.
