What is Cut-off List for DCAC?

Under the university’s admission norms, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list is announced. The admission in the college’s academic programmes takes place on the basis of merit. The authorities prepare this merit list after considering several factors, such as the total number of seats in its various programmes and the performance of applicants in class 12th. There is a minimum marks level or cut-off decided to set the merit.

The College announces the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list for arts as well as the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list for commerce every year.

Applicants who meet this minimum marks cut-off become eligible for admission in DCAC’s specific courses. According to the course of filling of available seats in each programme, the college may release multiple cut-off lists. DU provides every Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list, along with the lists for other colleges. Students can check the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list for arts, as well as the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list for commerce in accordance with the courses they have applied for, and then they can seek admission in the college if their marks fall above the cut-off in the latest list.

How to Know the Cut-offs for Courses at DCAC

As the university’s application process for undergraduate courses has started on May 22, 2017, this year’s Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list for all courses will be announced after the applications are screened and evaluated. While the 2017 cut-offs are expected to be released soon for DCAC courses, you can meanwhile check the cut-offs for previous years.

Knowing the previous year cut-offs will give you an idea of the likely Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list. We are not expecting any major changes in course cut-offs in the current year from those of the previous year. As you get an idea of the cut-offs for the course to which you have applied, it will help you check whether you will be able to get admission in DCAC or not. You can accordingly make your plans or alternate plans for admission.

How to Go Ahead with Admission in DCAC Based on Cut-offs

If you have not yet submitted your application towards admission in DCAC courses, you need to hurry up, as the last date for registering online is June 12, 2017, for merit-based courses. After submitting your application, you can wait for the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce cut-off list to be announced soon. Here is how to go ahead with it:

  • Visit the university’s official website to register and fill in an online application. Please note that you do not need to submit any other application to DCAC separately.
