DIMS Hosts Two-day Workshop on Android Application Development

Dewan Institute of Management Studies organized a two-day workshop on ‘Android Application Development.

Dewan Institute of Management Studies (DIMS) organized a two-day workshop on ‘Android Application Development, ROBOTRYST: 2015-16, an International Android Championship’ in MCA department in association with IIT Delhi’s TRYST-2016.
 
The program was inaugurated by Executive Director Col. (Dr.) Naresh Goyal, Administrator Prof. B M Rana, Head of Department Dr. Rajeev Kumar and Academic Coordinator Dr. Tarun Vashishth. 
 
On the first day of the workshop, students were introduced to basics of Android OS through modules by Jitendra Verma and Lakshya Patel (Sr. Software Developer, Robosapiens Technology Pvt. Ltd. Noida). Workshop was designed to demonstrate best practices for solving common Android development problems and the steps required to solve a problem, or implementing a feature, with code snippets and sampling codes to use within the apps.
 
In this workshop MCA students learned all about the Android SDK as well as the basic building blocks of making an Android App.
 
All the faculty members played an important role in successful completion of this workshop.
