A good news to students aspiring to build their career in B.Tech as the Delhi Technological University has increased the seats by 15 percent.
It’s been a while we reported about no extra seats in the DU admission process this year. Now it’s time to let students know that Delhi Technological University (DTU) has increased the number of seats in B.Tech Programme by 15 percent. This means, the academic session 2016-17 in DTU will have a total of 1,880 seats in various streams of B.Tech.
DTU has announced to add 221 seats to its Computer Engineering Programme and 25 seats in the Information Discipline. In addition to this, 12 seats have been added over and above in the NRI/PIO quota through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA).
DTU, also formally known Delhi College of Engineering, was upgraded to a university in 2009. Currently, it has a total strength of 1622 students enrolled in 15 disciplines in the B.Tech programme aside from 608 students taking classes in 22 disciplines of M.Tech programmes.
Programmes on offer in different disciplines at DTU include, but surely not limited to, Software Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computing, Production and Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Polymer Science and Chemical Technology, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Technology, Automobile Engineering, Information Technology and Engineering Physics.
