The University of Delhi (DU) is one of the top universities in India having a plethora of courses and programmes in various streams and departments. All candidates seeking admission to the B.Com and B.Com (Hons) courses must apply online as the admission process is completely based on the entrance examination conducted by the Delhi University.

Eligibility:

  • The candidates who have qualified 10+2 (12th examination) or equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible to apply.
  • There is no minimum age bar for admission to the undergraduate courses in Delhi University (DU) and its colleges.

*In professional courses, regulatory body prescribes minimum age requirement (such as MCI, AICTE etc.)

Admission Criteria for B.Com and B.Com (Hons) in Delhi University:

  • Direct admission: Admissions for B.Com will be based on the merit in the undergraduate degree.
  • Entrance: Candidate should pass the entrance examination with minimum marks specified for each course.

Documents Required for Admission:

  • Candidate should carry the following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission.
  • Class X Board Examination Certificate
  • Class X Mark sheet
  • Class XII Marks sheet
  • Class XII Provisional Certificate/Original Certificate
  • Character Certificate (recent)
  • SC/ST/PWD/CW/KM Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by competent authority
  • Transfer Certificate from school/college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/University is required from those students who have passed the senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.
  • At least two passport size self-attested photographs.
