DU to conferred Jeevan Raksha Padak to courageous students

The last date to submit the names of students willing to apply for the award is September 30, 2015!

Government of India sent a notice to the University of Delhi to collect the names of the students for Jeevan Raksha Padak Series of Awards 2015. These awards are being conferred for courageous activities by students to save someone’s life in incidents like accident, drowning, fire incident, landslides, animal attack, electrocution and rescue operation in mines etc.
The award is given away in three categories like:
  • Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak
  • Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak
  • Jeevan Raksha Padak
The colleges are asked to submit the names till September 30, 2015 to the University.  A copy of the notice is given under the notices section on the University website.
