DU LLB 2016 Counselling

DU LLB 2016 counselling and document verification process is likely to begin in July 2016. Candidates can check the counselling process for DU LLB 2016 here

DU LLB 2016 counselling will be organised by the University of Delhi in an offline mode between the third week of July 2016 and the first week of August 2016 (tentatively) at the DU University campus. The counselling for DU LLB 2016 will include seat allotment process and document verification. The candidates must go through the DU LLB counselling process. The law aspirants can also check the schedule for admission to three-year law programmes offered at various centres at the University.

Delhi University will be arranging the counselling based on the merit list of DU LLB 2016. The candidates must also get the necessary documents ready before attending the counselling session. Candidates can go through the following checklist for documents to be carried at the time of verification and counselling process:

  • Passing Certificate of class 10 along with a photocopy
  • Passing Certificate of class 12 along with a photocopy
  • Mark-sheets of Bachelor’s degree along with a photocopy
  • Graduation Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • College Leaving Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • DU LLB 2016 application form
  • DU LLB 2016 admit card
  • DU LLB 2016 score card/rank list/merit list
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)

The counselling will be conducted in offline mode only and the University may arrange not more than five rounds of counselling for DU LLB admissions 2016 at the campus. The counselling will be carried out for each category namely, general, scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), other backward classes (OBC) and persons with disabilities (PwD) on the basis of their respective rank obtained in the Law Entrance exam.

The candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria, only then he/she will be allotted the seat or else, the seat will be allotted to the next deserving candidate. Once the seat is allotted after the verification and other formalities, the candidate will be required to deposit the admission fee for DU LLB 2016 within the prescribed time. If the candidate fails to remit the admission fee within the stipulated time, it might result in cancellation of the allotment of seat.
