DU School of Open Learning (SOL) Admissions 2016: Last Date to Apply is 31st August

Interested candidates can apply for undergraduate courses including BA (Programme), Political Science (Hons), English (Hons), B.Com and B.Com (Hons).


The Delhi University has released its fourth cut-off for the year 2016. If you think you’re not even close to getting admission in any of the regular colleges in DU, then the University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) can be the next best option for you.

The admission process for undergraduate programmes offered at Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) has begun and interested candidates can start applying for any of the following undergraduate courses. It also offers five postgraduate courses.

  • BA (Programme)
  • Political Science (hons)
  • English (hons)
  • B.Com
  • B.Com (hons)

Candidates who wish to apply need to visit http://sol.du.ac.in/ and register for admissions.

The admission process for SOL, which admits around 1.5 lakh students every year in its UG courses, is completely online, including payment of fees.

Candidates who belong to person with disability (PwD) and below poverty line (BPL) categories can apply in person, and should carry card and certificates with them.

The last date to submit applications forms (without late fee) is 31st August, 2016 and September 15 with Rs. 200 as late fee.

The annual fee at SOL for undergraduate courses is around Rs. 3,500.
