Workshop on Eco-Friendly Dyeing and Finishing of Textiles Workshop is going to be organised at Miranda House, New Delhi


Department of Zoology of Miranda House is going to organise a Workshop on Eco-Friendly Dyeing and Finishing of Textiles on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Lab 241, Department of Zoology.

The Workshop intends to encourage the use of natural bioactive agents in textile dyeing and finishing. Techniques to be used will include

  • Extraction of Natural Bioactive Agents.
  • Dyeing and Antimicrobial Finishing of Textiles.
  • Role of Mordents Cross-linking Agents.
  • Evaluation of Antimicrobial Potential.

Registration for the Workshop is open and will last upto September 28, 2015; Registration Fee is INR 200.00 (only Cash). Forms are to be submitted to Mr. Ramesh, Department of Zoology (MH). Registrations are done on first cum first serve basis after the payment.
