Out of lakhs of students eyeing admission in DU, most of the candidates wish to pursue English Honours.

Gone are the days when students used to consider Science to be the only reputed course. As per recent observation, a large number of students are filling application forms for admission in DU’s English Honours course.

Around 90,331 students have filled application forms for English Honours in Delhi University this year.

Unlike last year when B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry and Mathematics in DU were high in demand, students are now opting for colleges that offer English Honours.

The reason for this change in trend is unknown but the current scenario suggests that Bachelor of Science courses are not popular among fucchas anymore.

There is a very strong possibility that the increasing demand for English (Hons) course among students will raise the DU 2016 cut-off for the same.

Last year, English Honours DU cut-off was between 90%-98.25%.
